I have over 10 years of reporting experience in various sectors, from oil & gas, defence and infrastructure to banking & finance, telecom & IT. For the past 7 years, I have been closely covering Indo-Russian bilateral relations and Russia's foreign policy in the Southeast Asia region. Before moving to South Asia in 2009, worked as a business reporter and editor of various daily & weekly economic publications. From 2007 to 2009, have been heading St. Petersburg bureau of a Moscow-based business fortnightly. A graduate of St Petersburg State University (Journalism, 2008) and University of Mumbai (Political science, 2015). As a reporter and editor, I clearly understand the value of headlines and deadlines, but as a reporter, I value facts and accuracy more than headlines. I enjoy talking up well-paid and challenging projects when I am sure I can add value to and that fit in well into my way of doing things in the profession.
