A) As a Mechanical PID (Project Inspector)  Implementing the Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures (SAEP), Standards (SAES), Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), Inspection Requirements (Form 175) etc.  Performed site inspection of material receiving, fabrication, welding, piping, NDT, sand blasting, coating/painting, hydro testing, pneumatic testing, preservation, punch listing, package completion etc.  Monitor and ensure that all materials used in the project comply with the project specifications and standards.  Coordinate with the project quality manager about all activities and inform him about quality control and others site related problems.  Monitoring quality activities and raises non-conformances where applicable.  Project report and product sign off, including review of dossiers.  Participate weekly/monthly quality, safety, project meetings.  To response singularly for the management and organization of quality system plan with respect to the project and its requirements.  Preparing project quality index.  Review of NDT, welding, painting, RT, repair rate, hydro test, storage and preservation reports.  Ensuring health safety and environmental (HSE) procedures are implemented and are adequately followed.

 Inspection & quality checking of incoming/outgoing material.  Handling Third Party Inspections (Material inspection, mtc review as per client specifications, marking, color coding checking, coordinating with TPI’s, obtaining Release notes etc.)  Preparation of ITP based on client’s specification.  Review of vendor documents ITP, WPS/PQR, Coating procedures etc.  Contract review of awarded jobs.  Final dossier preparation & getting approved from client.  Liaising with TPI agency to arrange inspections, IRC and material delivery at sub vendor premises in state or abroad.  Handling Non confirmation reports (NCR) of discrepant material / MTC’s.  Handling non confirmation reports (NCR) from clients end.  Following up with suppliers/ manufacturers/ clients to resolve the NCR issues.  Coordinating with internal sales, internal purchasing, expediting and finance departments for quick delivery of material at clients end and to resolve NCR related issues.  Creating awareness to meet quality objectives, ISO 9001 , health, safety and environment through different medias such as banners, slogans etc.  Conducting internal Quality Audit as per quality manual.  Maintenance and update of quality manual as per ISO 9001 guidelines.

 Responsible for the Quality Control of incoming and outgoing material.  Makes discrepancy reports and suggest for resolution.  Follows up and settles discrepancy report.  Checks and prepares the mill test certificate.  Archives MTC of stock materials.  Carries out NDT (DPI, MPI, UT) as required.  Prepares Quality Control Inspection reports.  Supports the Sales team in the review of inquiries and orders related to Quality.  Supports the Sales team in the preparation of pre qualification submittals.  Provides technical assistance to the sales team related to international codes and standards.  Responsible for calibration of inspection instruments.  Implements ISO 9001 procedure requirements in the Yard.  Prepares Inspection and Test Plan as per customer’s order requirement, and responsible for implementation of the same.  Carries out inspections at supplier’s premises, as will as inspections for sub contracted jobs such as painting, galvanizing, wrapping, hydrotesting, machining, fabrication, welding, NDT’s, etc.  Liaise with customer’s QC or TPI during inspection and in the resolution of any NCR’s raised.  Support the Sales team in project documentation and QC correspondence.  Supports sales team in technical meetings and JOB ORDER negotiations.  Conducts site survey at clients ends if required.  Responsible for HSE monitoring and control in the Yard.

 Planning and organizing for daily NDT activities.  Responsible for crew allotment for various NDT techniques and other testing such as RT , MT,PT , TOFD, PMI , HT ,PWHT etc to various project areas and sub areas.  Monitoring and record keeping of all daily NDT activities and maintaining NDT backlogs.  Maintaining and investigation of all NDT complaints from clients end and third parties.  Clearing all NDT backlogs and complaints received or entered into log book.  Coordinating to make all necessary arrangements for carrying out NDT testing, such as scaffolding, RT permit, HSE requirement etc.  Reviewing the NDT reports such as MT, PT . TOFD , HT ,PWHT ,PMI etc.  Ensuring that the tests carried out and dates of reporting are as per project procedure and specification.  Coordinating and monitoring of other tests such as hardness testing, PWHT testing etc.  Coordinating with test pack team to ensure that all NDE and other testing requirements are inline and package is ready to release.  Review of NDT requirements for test pack team.  Carrying out MPI and PT testing if necessary at site for urgent cases.  Maintaining the calibration certificates and other necessary certificates for all NDT and testing equipments.  Singing off and daily time sheets for all NDT crews.  Recoding & Maintaining of NDT production list on daily, weekly and monthly basis.  Identifying critical areas of NDT backlogs and clearing it.  Recording and maintaining list of consumables such as paints, films , developers, equipment

 Responsible for the implementation of the project requirement based on approved procedures and specifications and quality control procedures, inspection and test plan, mainly on all welding activities involved for the fabrication of piping spools in shop and on the field pipe installation which includes tie-in jobs to all piping contained within modules, packages or sub-assemblies and on plant equipment.  Ensure that all materials use for fabrication and welding parameters conformed to the project specification requirements, scope of works and on approved drawing for construction.  Control and maintain records such as NDT percentage, welder percentage, material traceability, alloy verification and other pertinent documents.  Conduct daily routine checks on all welding activities if welding parameters in applicable WPS have been achieved such as bevel tolerances, cleaning, welding consumables type and size, welder qualification, welding equipment condition, pre-heating (if requires) and inter-pass temperature requirement, electrical characteristics (amp-volts) welding speed, welding size, welding sequence as well as PWHT (if required).  Conducts 100% visual inspection on all welded joints and review daily welding reports and schedules NDT, PWHT and hardness test as per required based on piping NDE matrix.  Prepare discrepancy report or non-conformance report has been observed during routine inspection.  Review test package and conduct final walk-thru inspection punch list and submit to client for final review and acceptance. As a QC Piping Inspector:  Responsible for the implementation and inspection based on project procedures and specifications and quality control procedures for the fabrication of all piping which are fabricated at shop and site locations.  Verify piping material components as per specified in the drawing bill of materials.
