Verification and application of the requirements of the applicable welding codes, scope of work and issued for construction (IFC) drawings. • Verification against the documentation and marking of correctness of parent materials. • Review and preparation of WPS, PQR, ITP, Weld Plan, Procedures as per project specifications and standards. • Review of vendor package documents with refer to purchase Requisition, PO, Data sheets,Project-specs, Drawings, International codes and standards. • Material verification with the support of mill test certificate (MTC). • Verification to ensure that the applicable welding procedures specifications (WPS) are approved by the appropriate authorities prior to start any welding activities. • Verification and correctness of welding consumable such as Welding electrodes, filler wires, consumable, inserts, gases, fluxes, etc. • Witnessing of welders and welding procedures approval test as required. • Verification and validation the calibration certification of welding machines / equipments as per requirements. • Verification of Welding electrodes backing and storage to all equipments meets job specification and code requirements. • Verification of dimensions fit-up and welds preparations in compliance with the applicable engineering standards and drawings. • Verification to ensure that adequate and valid welder approvals are available and only approved welders processing valid welding cards are used / engaged in production / activities. • Ensure that the approved welding procedures are employed in production / process and /or activities. • Providing and guiding to welder to weld distortion control and welding sequence in accordance with job code requirements. • Perform surveillance visits / inspection during welding and fabrication activities to verify and ensure the compliance with the specified procedures, including any pre-heat, interpass temperature control and post weld heat treatment (PWHT). • Visual inspection and dimensional of completed weld against the specifications, requirements and drawings. • Verification of shaft alignment and leveling inspections of rotating equipments (Pumps and Compressors) by using Rim&face,Reverse or laser type method. • Verification alignment and leveling inspections of static equipments,skids,platforms etc with total station and dumpy level. • Alignment and leveling inspections of erection completed pipe rack structures, support structures,offshore skids and offshore platforms against ITP drawings and specifications. • Witnessing and monitoring of NDT activities as per approved procedure and applicable codes. • Witnessing & review of PMI,Ferrite,Hardness tests & PWHT. • Monitoring welder performance and repair rates of each welder in accordance with job quality and code requirements. • Co-ordination with the TPI,AI, client/consultants to maintain the quality to move the project smoothly. • Walk through inspection, Line check-up and punch list preparation and punch list clearing of erected pipe lines and piping’s. • Stage and Final Inspection of pressure vessels, piping, skids as per the drawing and Requirements. • Preparation of pressure test packages. • Preparation of final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filling system (as per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document • Monitoring / checking of Preparation and conducting of Pressure test activities. • Conducting and witnessing of cleaning and flushing activities. • Reviewing of NDT Reports • Interpretation of Radiographic Films and Witnessing PT & MT. and Review of Heat Treatment charts. • Familiar with NCR and QSR management programme. • Handling Internal, External & Clients Audit.

Ongoing Visual Inspection and Final Inspection of Structures, Piping & Insulation.
