Facilities Supervisor

My duties include: ➢ Supervise and coordinate with the assigned officers & maintenance team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of compounds services includes administration works, reception of BDM residents and allotment of villas, handover of villa inventory, transport, entertainment facilities, general maintenance and control of sub-contractor works related to swimming pool, gardening, pest control works etc. ➢ Covering requirements of residents as per the agreed contract. ➢ Provision of maintenance services to villas as required by the residents within the work order system. ➢ Inventory of Villas upon departure of residents and informing and reporting of missing and damaged items to the Operations Manager. ➢ Furnishing of villas well and keeping ready for new arrivals. ➢ Training newly arrived staff and locating them to the other compounds with the work responsibilities within company rules and regulations. ➢ Inspection of compound sections time to time to ensure work is neat and tidy and staff is doing their job with proper uniforms. ➢ Organizing parties & programs for the compound residents as per request. ➢ Preparing annual maintenance budget and control of expenses. ➢ Submitting of monthly bills related to services of compound to Operations Manager for onward processing. ➢ Submitting of Work Progress Reports monthly to Operations Manager. Fulfillment of additional responsibilities: • Replaced Operations Manager during his vacations taking control of all the compounds and fulfilled the requirements to best of my ability. Company had maintenance and catering service projects in King Khalid Air Base for serving MDS American family compound having 240 villas and catering service facilities for RSAF (Royal Saudi Air Force). I worked as Supervisor and was reporting to Projects Manager – American national. My responsibilities were: ➢ Supervision and maintaining of American Dining Hall for MDS families and Snack Bar for RSAF – Supply Squadron with the catering team having sale of SR. 2500/- to 3500/- daily. ➢ Managing of meal, housekeeping & laundry services as per contract with the company. ➢ Managing and arranging of family parties on various occasions upon request from MDS and providing office services to some of high ranking officers for RSAF. ➢ Control and training of staff, inspection of catering outlets to ensure job is done well and staff appearance with neat & tidy uniforms. ➢ Arranging maintenance works as required by Snack Bar in Charge in command. ➢ Control of material request and expenses, inventory of materials, cost control, cash sales checkup and submitting to accounts section daily. ➢ Medical Certificates for staff and maintaining food and cleaning standard, hygiene etc. ➢ Submitting weekly work reports of all Snack Bars to the Projects Manager. Fulfillment of additional responsibilities: • 1991 – During Gulf War upon instruction of Projects Manager worked day and night and took complete control of the additional services requested by RSAF for serving American Military Soldiers & Officers. Maintained and provided smooth service for the period of one month till the receipt of normal work schedule from RSAF. It was hard time but managed to control the work pressure in the best interest of the Company. My main achievement in this job includes: ==> Received good training & support from Projects Manager which helped to managed Dinning Hall and Snack Bars well. ==> Managed to keep control of cost target given by the Manager. ==> Received bonus salary for fulfillment of additional responsibilities with RSAF during Gulf War. ==> Learned a lot and gained good experience to work independently.
