• Inspecting the newly installed lines as per method statements and ITP • Checking the lines and support details as per Project specification and preparing punch categories A & B items. • Inspection of flanges, types of valves, their direction, tag numbers, rating & size. • Inspection of Orifice flanges, gaskets and Mechanical cleaning of the newly • Installation pipes (Air blowing). • Inspection before welding Joint Preparation, Pre-welding distortion control, Pre heat application requirements, Electrical characteristics. • Inspection during welding like Pre-heat values, Consumable control, Process Type, Purging gases, Welding conditions for root/ hot pass and inter run cleaning and min/max inter pass temperature. • Visual inspection after welded the joint and scheduling for the NDT Requirements. • Checking the line as per ITP requirements and preparing punch items A and B. • Evaluation of test package contents (eg: drawing, welding history, NDE coverage etc.) • Clearing punch category A’ items before pressure test on completed lines. • As-built the isometric drawing as per the site condition • Witness for pressure test (hydro, pneumatic and service) packages for the newly installed lines. • Witness for bolt torque and checking the bolts and nuts & gaskets during Reinstatement. • Clearing the Master Punch List items and attending daily meeting with the client to close balance items. • Raising Site Technical Queries (STQ) • Handing over the red line drawings to clients • Coordinating with contractors, client and other departments.

• Responsible for carrying out fabrication, erection, inspection, testing and commissioning various piping systems; qualifying welder as per ASME Sec IX & AWS D1.1, Inspecting the newly installed lines as per method statements, ITP and QCP. • Carrying out inspections such as fit up, final visual inspection during prefabrication, assembly and erection stages with class and client • Establishment of preliminary WPS, PQR, WQT to suite project requirements. Monitoring and control of welding consumables as per consumable handling & storage procedure • Responsible for preparing/checking of Piping M.T.O and planning of fabrication and erection of piping system as per availability of front & material. • Inspection before welding Joint Preparation, Pre-welding distortion control, Pre-heat application requirements, Electrical characteristics. • Inspection during welding like Pre-heat values, Consumable control, Process Type, Purging gases, Welding conditions for root/ hot pass and inter run cleaning and min/max inter pass temperature as per approved WPS and specification • Accountable for fabrication & Erection of piping and creating & updating Mechanical clearance, NDT clearance & Hydro/Pneumatic testing status report of loops. • Successfully executing fabrication & erection of U/G and A/G piping spools and coordinating with Client, Consultant, Contractor, Designer and Engineering Department regarding Technical Problems arises day to day during Construction at site. • Review the MTC of filler wire and Electrode as per ASME SEC II. Verifying the pre-heat, PWHT with respect to WPS • Responsible for Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities and also performing Fit-Up Inspections as per WPS & verifying flange, fitting, valves with its material, class and rating, material code, pipe supports as per Standard Drawing along with Hydro & pneumatic test as per specification & providing front for Piping Insulation contractor. • Maintaining important documents like: Specifications File , Procedures File, Calibration Certificate File, Daily Progress Report and Loop Clearance Files & Register. • Dealing with line routing & layout of piping and played a pivotal role in execution designing and developing equipment layout through application of Master P&ID and leading a team of engineers for working out Material Take-Off. • Deftly handling piping erection projects with a team of Supervisor, foremen, pipe fitters while accountable for the checking of equipments with reference to mechanical data sheet (MDS), equipment layout & Master P&ID. • Maintaining coordination with other areas for interconnection and area demarcation and incorporating the comments of other departments in the works done. • Carrying out detailed planning and scheduling to ensure execution of the projects within time and budgetary parameters. Coordinating with external & internal partners for handling technical queries, work schedule and design related issues. • Ensuring adherence to Safety, Environment and Health standards in all functional areas and develop & implement measures for enhancing safety levels. • Proactively identifying and rectifying problems to ensure smooth operations and adherence to design and quality parameters. NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST: • Witnessing MPI, DPT and UT inspections. Interpretation of RT films. • Review of RT, MPI, DPT, PREHEAT and PWHT reports. • Preparation of NDE request as per NDE matrix. • Selection of joints and pieces in a lot for 10% NDE inspection. • Monitoring weekly repair % of welders with NDE results.
