1.Performs functions directed towards controlling incoming ingredient quality, finished product quality, and overall quality control and sanitation programs and special projects.
2.Under general supervision, executes quality testing procedures to ensure product meets specifications.
Working as a QA/QC-Lab Analyst. (From March-2011) in Saudi Master Baker Ltd, Dammam, and Saudi Arabiya.
Responsibilities:
Six years of experience in Food manufacturing Quality Control, Food science, and equivalent food safety experience.
Raw Materials and Packaging Materials Checking.
Communicates in product quality issues to production Forman, supervisors, production managers and QC manager.
Perform product tasting and sensory evaluation & Sample Preparation, testing and Analysis.
Checking ISO, HACCP, cGMP & and Quality food system. Health & Safety, Checking Stability Records & Market Complaint Records. Records data, collecting samples, analyse, and process laboratory samples & Assist in more complex laboratory tasks & perform a variety of laboratory experiments using both routine and special techniques and methods.
Review third party food safety Audit reports of food suppliers to verify compliance with regulatory and Disney requirements.
Review supplier audit corrective and preventative action plan to confirm non-conformances are adequately addressed.
Experience in Aseptic technique, Food microbiology.
Strong understanding of advanced HACCP and Food safety skills.
Oversee investigation and resolution of supplier food related complaints and Identify compliance issue.
Calibration of Scale and Thermometer.
Experience in developing HACCP / Food safety plants and preservative control programs. Auditing ingredient suppliers and food process. Strong understanding of sanitation principles, cGMP, Basic food safety knowledge.
Understanding of food manufacturing including but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, pest management, sanitation, personal hygiene, food defence, traceability and recall, training, allergen control program, labelling, microbiological testing, receiving, storage, and distribution.
Working knowledge of Food Microbiology, Hazard analysis, preventive control, cGMP, hygienic zoning and designs.
